"Urging" trump is not going to work. The complete files must be released, without his involvement. Don't forget this guy stonewalled releasing his tax records for years, which still astonishes me, given that he managed to get all the way to the White House without being held accountable for it.
I seriously hope this guy dies in a jail cell. It is a tall order, considering the corruption, but watching the brave women speaking up this morning, justice will win out one way or another.

I agree. Historically, the power center of organized religion has more often than not cozied up to kings and authoritarian regimes. The sad part is it gets in the way of people checking out the anti-self-enriching, empathetic heart of Christ's message, which is radical and not religious.

I spent time in the hospital during June with a bad case of Covid pneumonia. It was my fourth dance with this disease, the second resulting in Long Covid. When I told my doctor I hadn’t heard about this strain, he said that’s because the information isn’t getting out publicly like it used to. 1/2

Just as I see other disinformation or smear efforts that seem ubiquitous on the internet, and I take everything with a grain of salt. I was surprised at what appeared to be a sudden blast of these anti-Sanders posts. That hasn't been showing up on my feed and suddenly it was there.

Erick, it is assuming a lot that I don't "see it" because I don't want to see it. Yep, I was born white and growing up in the South (Memphis) during the late 50s, 60s and 70s, I can assure you that I've seen and learned an awful lot, and I'm constantly learning more every day.
I guess it is pile-on day. I voted for Hillary and Kamala and supported Dems and Progressives all my voting life. I don't believe asking for proof is a "demand," and it is assuming a lot that anything shared wouldn't "satisfy" me. It was a sincere question.

So Bernie is "a grifter and always has been." I'd love to know who is behind this smear campaign. I've seen a few of these posts over the last few days. I've followed Sanders with interest since 80s and he has proven time and again to be one of the most ethical politicians who walks the walk.
The trouble is that neither militant side, Hamas and Netanyahu, control the truth, and yet, there are millions of people on both sides who just want to left alone to live their lives with dignity. As it stands, a minority of people wielding power on both sides are contributing to this insanity.
No one expects Israel, who has one of the most sophisticated armies and weapons in the world, to lay down arms and cease defending themselves, but this all or nothing approach doesn't solve anything. Netanyahu has shown he has just as little regard for life as Hamas. Most people don't support this.
I believe Israel has the right to defend itself and bring down those who perpetrated the attack. What I don’t support is the wholesale murdering of tens of thousands of innocent people. Israel's extreme response is indefensible.
Of course, I don’t support this horror, but your all or nothing approach is as destabilizing to any kind of peace as theirs. Both sides are poisoned. This article you’re referencing was published less than a week after the massacre. Israel's scorched earth response only plants more seeds of rage.

Stephen Miller is right in regards to his personal safety. I imagine DC would be an unsafe place for him to go out in public. He might get “disappeared.” He is manifesting a reality he projects. Trouble is, the majority of the citizenry are beyond annoyed at the indignities he created.
It evidently was too much to ask voters to trust a intelligent woman of color and default to the obviously corrupt, obscenely rich white guy. While I had issues with how the Dems weren't given a proper primary, the choice between Harris and trump was a no-brainer.
They could argue that no law enforcement can be trusted, but they have shown themselves to be involved with or enabling ICE's cruelties. I don't support this, but I understand why it would come to this. trump is betting on this happening because he'd love to use violence to dominate the "others."2/2
I wonder how many unidentified masked ICE agents are members of the Proud Boys and other vigilante groups. It won't surprise me if vigilantes from communities that these thugs terrorize begin pulling out guns and weapons on these so-called ICE enforcers and calling it self-defense. 1/2

trump will pull out all the stops to block unsealing the Epstein files, while continuing to do what is needed to please Putin. His ICE shows of “strength” are causing his dismal numbers to plummet even further. In the end, this administration and the Party that supported him will be brought down.

Scenes like this are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit rising up against injustice. It is this that gives me faith that the current leaders of Russia and the US will run out of office.
Thank you for sharing this. Zelensky needs to be touched by art as often as possible to feed his soul. It will supply him with strength and insight as he faces off against two souless men hellbent on gutting Ukraine.
I want the Lost Cause to be reduced to a shameful chapter in history books and museums next to exhibits that honor the heroism of women, people of color, LGBT people, and people of all faiths who got out of their silos and fought to make our country a better place.
Our history, which trump and the Project 2025 are eager to bury, is full of atrocities. Where I live, the Civil War is called the Lost Cause, a “States’ Rights” issue, ignoring that the root of that war was driven by the wealthy 1%’s justification for capitalism based on the enslavement of people.
Between steps 3 and 4, I fear a new kind of vigilantism emerging where people who’ve had enough feeling powerless and begin pulling out guns and weapons on these so-called masked ICE enforcers, calling it self-defense, because there is no law enforcement they can trust.
