Someone on Twitter said that if he'd had small strokes he'd have recovered enough by now to resume normal activities - so this seems a major health event from which there's no going back. I personally think Putin scared the shit out of him. Trump now knows there's no exit and his end will be ugly.

Remember how, in that recent meeting with Putin, everyone - not just Rump, but everyone from the US - came out "ashen-faced" and seriously rattled? I gotta wonder if Trump finally realized who owned him and how bad things will end for him...and the shock triggered a health crisis.

I've been wondering lately if everyone who lives long enough looks at the nation they grew up in and realizes it has dramatically changed. Some nations surely do it for the better...but here we are, with Russia, China, and other authoritarian nations laughing at what we've let the GOP/Rump do to us.
I think he had a stroke, can't talk, and what they're doing is trotting him out of the car long enough for one press photo and then picking him up at the back door and taking him back to bed.
I haven't had a drink in over 20 years now. Not because I can't handle it (I always stop at 2 drinks)...but because I really hate how my head and body feel after drinking. But I am SO gonna buy a bottle of champagne for this:

I find it telling that all we've seen are shots of him entering a golf course - not actually walking and playing. I think they smuggle him out the back door immediately, once the press pool has the initial shot of him arriving.

Everything Rump says is a lie. So yes - he's very sick. And DC is not "crime-free." The Guard isn't there to fight crime, it's there as an invading, occupying military force. That has zero to do with the crime rate, which remains normal.

Never say never in America. I'd say it depends on how effectively any other candidate rises up against Rump. I've heard a couple of other potential candidates give powerful speeches but in terms of taking action that WORKS, Newsom is way out front right now.
