I literally just posted about how many are endangering their careers, and should face disciplinary action.
Some of these folks should be disbarred for repeated lies to the courts. (It happened after the 2020 post Trump litigation to a few on his team.) It's one rare way to actually hold them accountable (even if it takes a while).

Meanwhile NYTimes has a panel discussion on potential 2028 contenders, one of them suggests Rahm Emanuel (!), suggesting pols not focus on criticism of Trump but to run on a positive vision. It could have been written years ago, completely misreading the moment.
I know it's sacrilegious to suggest it, but a post-Trump divorce from red states should be analyzed. What would it look like, could it be done? Nothing lasts forever, no reason this particular government/entity must continue in its current form.

One of my many physical therapists also recommended a specific SteelCase model that my back had to adjust to, but both of the others are more comfortable.
Of course it's a very personal thing in terms of what is comfortable. I am super short, with years of back problems, so have special issues. (Both Aeron and Humanscale have small chairs for us shrimps.)
I have had to replace the cushion on my Humanscale chair twice, admittedly after several years each time, but the support deteriorates as the foam breaks down. My Aeron is the most comfortable chair I have ever had, so much so that I don't feel the need to take standing breaks (unlike Humanscale).

The folks in Long Island suburbs who resist mid-size apartments near LIRR stations are sure not lefties. (Many of those towns seem like they could use an injection of vibrancy, rather than being stuck in the 80s and 90s. But they don't want change.)

I think we would need a course on civil procedure, too. Federal gives a good approximation of most states, so it's a good default. And it should cover discovery too.
I am not disputing PR support for Israel. My point was the Israeli spokesperson who used PR as an example of an alternative to statehood either doesn't know or care about support among Puerto Ricans for Palestinians.

Some Israeli spokesperson on the BBC said not everyone has a country, saying Puerto Rico and Gibraltar are other possible models. As with Tibet, people in these places are citizens and aren't under military rule, governed differently from their neighbors based on ethnicity.

There are always innocent people who are "collateral damage" in any boycott, who don't support the policy that caused the boycott. I am not sure if it's possible for a boycott to function otherwise.

Coupled with the recognition of a Palestinian state by France, UK, Canada, we are seeing a sea change. Maybe there is hope for a real solution, even if it's still years away.

I think inertia is preventing any serious changes, which is why France recognizing a Palestinian state is significant. The seemingly impossible becomes possible. Along with this move, sanctions is no longer a crazy fringe idea.

Sorry I don't agree with your optimism. The country has been marching steadily rightward towards authoritarianism for years. Odeh did nothing remotely warranting expulsion, it's an effort to stifle all dissent.
I am mostly talking about the WB too. The Knesset voting today to annex the WB suggests the problem goes way beyond the current government. And they came dangerously close to expelling Ayman Odeh last week, another sign that the majority of the country is in a very different place than 20 years ago.
What "economic cooperation" could possibly work at this point? Israel is not accepting a Palestinian state on its own. Real pressure is due. (Not to mention pressure to stop the slaughter in Gaza.)
On the last point: Every boycott/sanctions effort harms citizens, employees, etc., in addition to the government being targeted. (Iranians are suffering from huge hits to their economy, for example.) Seems long past time to go this route against Israel (not diaspora businesses).

We trained our kids on what to do if they got separated from us getting on/off the train. If kid is on the platform, stay there (parent will come back). If kid is on the train, get off at the next stop and stay there (parent will be on the next train). (I think this was the idea.)

I know married couples with kids who insist on taking 2 different flights when they are traveling by plane, but routinely drive in the same car together.
