If ever there’s a constituency that needs a decent representative it’s Clacton. Pity they’ve been persuaded to choose otherwise.
Not a lot under £7 in my local. But I had a pint in a Wetherspoons in Clacton (don’t ask) for £1.79 recently. Cheapest ever pint was 6p in a pre-velvet revolution Prague after a black market currency exchange, but that’s another story. #bapps

I must have an email archive containing hundreds of old messages. Every so often I go to delete old emails and hit “archive” by mistake and they disappear. Where to I have no idea.

Read Kim Stanley Robinson's (optimistic IMHO) "Ministry of the Future". He talks about doing something like this in Antarctica to pump meltwater from under glaciers to the surface where it freezes and stops glaciers moving so fast. Huge scale required but it's an interesting idea.

My mother listed everything she read; she was fed up with getting half way through stuff and realizing she'd read it before. My Dad had a list of every play they saw and mile they cruised. I have a list of every band and every gig I've ever seen and every flight. I suspect it's an autism thing.
