It's really interesting because we didn't have weekly mass shootings in schools when I was growing up in the 1970s and '80s. Only after Reagan ended the fairness doctrine in 1987 and right-wing hate media became a thing did we start having this problem.
The number of shooters who don't have a long history of screeching about right wing medias grievances in their own social media or paper to their walls of their bedrooms is so small, I doubt we can name more than a couple of them. It is almost universally a factor in the lives of these shooters.
Every single mass shooter as far as I know has had a long history on social media demonstrating their constant exposure to the chorus of conservative voices spreading relentless fake outrage and fear. It is the number one reliable factor of a mass shooter.
