I am not satisfied with this response from him. He definitely needs to do more. We would be in a better spot if he resigned. But, this is the current hand that has been delta us. I need for him to do better and I am trying to encourage him to do so.

Then that same energy should be shown to his much more temp post that he makes on a regular basis. People were tearing him apart for all of his price of egg post and rightfully so but people were pointing out that was his aid as well.
I would love for this to happen! But in the meantime, I will take whatever I can get and try to encourage him to do more, even if it is below the bare minimum

i have been yelling at him about his lack of action as well, but i think this is different and i want to encourage more steps like this.
i just think this is a stronger statement compared to his previous ones. it is asking for something concrete and it continues to focus the spotlight on a bad dude that is struggling right now. you and i agree that his inaction has been detrimental, but i think this step could have legs.

Serious question. Are the military occupations impacted by the shutdown? Will soldiers and national guardsmen get paid? I don't think morale is high right now amongst the troops and if life became more difficult during a shutdown then this could become an inflection point
