I certainly agree people need to show up and vote and that republican policies are largely unpopular. The problem often is that democrats tend to struggle to get the most important things across the finish line. There's always a Manchin or Sinema deliberately screwing the party over.

First of all a statue isn't history. It has a history. When was it made, why was it put there and so on. Those are two different things and I get the impression Hegseth really doesn't understand that very basic concept.

I'm not surprised the rallies went well. One encouraging thing I saw at the one I attended - in Naperville, IL - was the hundreds of American flags people were carrying. That's how you send the right message. When the national anthem was sung at the beginning of the rally, people were tearing up.
