By the book launch I was probably about 12 or 13 maybe even 14 if we are talking about when it really hit. So I was a little “too cool” for Goosebumps and reading either high-fantasy books or Stephen King. I hit my 30s and really wish I wouldn’t have had my head up my ass as a kid

I really don’t remember the new 52 being this horrible thing. I remember it being fairly well received. There were a few books like animal man and swamp thing that I loved. I know there were internal issues there but by and large the people I talked to were all net positive on it.

I lived this movie. Just that fun kinda over the top violence I don’t get to see much anymore.
I really enjoy this. The music, soft atmosphere, it’s an absolute comfort movie for me.
When Hasbro talks about making D&D a billion dollar brand and franchising the brand, it’s this kind of stuff that I want to see. This is what d&d growth looks like outside of a constant edition churn.
And to be clear, I would much rather have these things delayed until they are ready instead of getting that loose and frustrating G.I. Joe sidescroller.
Can’t wait for them to stop announcing all these games and start releasing them

As a teen I used to be able to go to this shady indoor flea market and get just about anything that a weird kid in the 90s could want. There was always some skeezy dude who would try to sell you things like butterfly knives and leer at your female friends too long. Anyway, here’s Crystal Ball.

It was the first game I played on my ps5 and I lost a lot of time to just standing on a mountain or hill or roof or road or whatever and just looking at the horizon
However, im enjoying the show overall. I like the Cyborg/Synthetic/Hybrid thing. I like the little alien guys running around killing stuff, the rich people having their French Aristocrats themed party while the building was on the verge of collapse.
This show has made some decisions with music that I don’t think I care for. The sepia-toned Sid appearing in the second episode was incredibly off putting and kinda made me feel like the show thinks I’m too dumb to remember anything. Like the show can’t reinforce enough that it’s on Earth.
18 pages in and it’s exceptional. Y’all really need to immerse yourself in comics.

Ok well finishing the episode I can say that the make another baffling decision that some people who were a fan of a certain Disney+ show will recognize and claim to either be genius or off putting and weird.
The 2nd episode of Alien Earth has one of the most berserk editing decisions I’ve ever seen.
