Liked “elongated pass-through”—it’s more descriptive than “transitory.” The peak would be lower, as two opposing forces are acting on prices: disinflationary due to the waning Covid effect, and inflationary due to tariffs. Prices will rise on tariffed goods, substitutes, and services sequentially.
