I feel citizens were left out in the wind during the pandemic. Mixed messages everywhere. Freezers of bodies in Italy and then NYC scared me into doing everything I could to keep my family safe. I understand that means different things to different people.
Trump got a COVID-19 pharmaceutical cocktail that was not available for the rest of us. He then said let the virus rip through our communities killing untold numbers. Going on TV daily feeding us lies and BS.

Because we have lived through our government leading us into the 2008 financial crisis and then abandoning us during the covid crisis with division and lies. We are on our own and know it.

I was in Georgetown for a wedding I walked to breakfast at 7am. I saw families with babies in strollers, dogs on leashes. I took an Uber to the Lincoln. I walked all around the basin and then to the wharf for lunch. It's a beautiful memory now ruined by these images of the national guard.
