I think start with the Multiverse graphic novel that he did with Walt Simonson. I personally like Mother London, but I think you should consider one of the short fiction collections like The Best of Michael Moorcock. There's just so much excellent stuff, depending on if you lean SF or fantasy.

Of course as a young boy, I had no idea about the messaging of the movie, but I tried to watch it again last year I think, and I was horrified. Then I saw a making-of video that detailed just how much Kosugi fiddled with it and why.
He was sexist and he interferred with Ninja III more than any other. He changed the ending because man can't be beaten by a woman. That movie had multiple problems (like an attempted rape where the cop doesn't even caution the would-be-rapists because he wants to have sex with the heroine).
Especially the women.
I actually liked Kosugi as a martial artist, but I think of him as a man 100 years outside of his time period. The film business thrives on a flexibility that he didn't have, and a performative equality that he wasn't willing to adopt.

He was a bit in his own way as a leading me. He would not allow anyone to beat him on screen who he thought he could beat in real life. And he thought he could beat anyone in real life, so... He also had very specific limits on what he would allow women to do. He had no flex.

I'm not a lawyer, but I have seen people get part of a settlement that amounted to £100.00 or even less, but they had to sign up to the terms of the agreement to get it.
One aspect of this Anthropic settlement that I'm not seeing a lot of commentary on: If you get the cash, what are you agreeing to? Settlements are an agreement. Does it come with a spanking new NDA where you can't criticize either Anthropic specifically or techbros generally for stealing your work?

A lot of what you have to do is drilled into you so many times, that you can be paged, wake from a deep sleep, and do it. And, from the perspective of the patient, it's an unusual occurrence, whereas to the health professionals, it's just Tuesday.

Medical dramas lie constantly. I once wrote to the BBC about their show 'Doctors' about something that would NEVER happen, and they straight-up said, it's for dramatic effect and not based in reality.
On the other hand, I did see a famous person arrive dead, but described in the dailies as 'died in hospital after he could not be resuscitated'. Absolute bollocks. Body was cold, pupils fixed and dilated. But of course we couldn't talk about it.
I liked ER until I got to medical school and realised that the emergency department is mostly calm AF. People efficiently deal with your spurting blood vessel without dramatic, percussion music. Not a single person sitting astride a trolley delivering CPR as the ambulance crew wheel into the OR.

I sometimes read Fowler's Usage dictionary for laughs. I've read Strunk and White several times, but not in the last five years. I flip through Booth's The Rhetoric of Fiction and read segments for fun too.
