America First, right? Gee, all Evil's acolytes have been accusing me of hating this country due to my opposition to their leader who is only interested in rescuing America. Wonder how attacking other countries aligns with their beliefs. Apparently hate doesn't differentiate between right and wrong.
I think it's because we're used to the onslaught. We've come to expect frenzy, not the waste of time. We've come to expect the ring-master upping yesterday's outrage with another bombshell. It's just not like Evil to leave us unmolested even for a second.

But, once again, you don't have to be smart to be Evil. In fact, I'd argue that stupidity only enhances the attraction of menace. True machiavellian tendencies require a lot of energy that other people- Good people- would prefer to expend on knowledge, which leads to understanding and empathy.

This is an outrage. It's really just the equivalent of what the Evil menace is doing to migrants, black and brown people in this country. Same warped methodology, thinking they are better and more deserving than other people. That is the definition of Evil.

Sadly, horribly, pathetically true. And it has been so for decades. I was traveling in Europe in the late 80s and people I met often spoke of how dangerous they thought America was. It made me reflect more deeply on the direction we were headed but it wasn't until Columbine that I fully understood.
