It is time that those in charge of the USA especially around the Republican Party reconsider the current course of action. The division the West only help its enemies, and they exploit the current situation.

Targeting Russia's energy infrastructure is the most efficient way to lead Russia's economy into its downfall, and by extension the war. The Soviet Union and its dissolution was caused by an high military budget and falling revenues from energy exports.
Pipelines, refineries, storages and ports can be cut of and when necessary be directly destroyed. Russia has only three major ports where oil can be loaded fast and those are Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk and Tuapse. If those are taken out, then Russia can neither make money nor supply its (war) economy.
Economic lifelines can be cut at multiple points and with devastating effects, especially when reflecting that Russia failed to divers its economy. It is an economic monoculture firmly based on energy.
People frequently ask what cards Ukraine has and I point to this case. Russia's large size, which in the past was an advantage, has turned into the exact opposite.
It is made up by several dozens of pump stations and hubs, distributed over the length of more than 5,000 km (3,000 miles), including the Vyborg/Ust Luga line. It is impossible to protect all facilities.

Hungarian authorities have put a ban on Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Ukraine's commanding officer of the drone forces, for entering Hungary and Schengen Zone. The Hungarian FM personally mentioned that Magyar will not be able to enter Hungary for years to come. Brovdi is Ukrainian with Hungarian roots.
Ukrainian forces of GUR struck a Russian type Buyan-M missile boat in the Black Sea. The ship is capable of firing Calibr cruise missiles.
The refinery in Afipsky is around 380 km (240 miles) from the current frontline. Annual production output is also around 7.0 million tons.

Ukrainian USVs struck a second refinery. The Afipsky refinery in the Krasnodar region, Russia, is burning.
Ukrainian forces struck the Novokuybyshevsk refinery in Samara, Russia. According to local witnesses 17 UAVs struck the facility. Videos show the entire refinery being engulfed by fire and smoke.
A heavy explosion occurred at the oil pipeline between Ryazan with Moscow. The pipeline connects the refineries of Ryazan and Kapotnya in Moscow. Reportedly the oil flow has been suspended. Both refineries have already been visited by Ukrainian drones in the past.
After 5 days of burning, it appears that the fire at the Novoshakhtinsk refinery has been contained. The damage, however, is already done. The storage facility in the northwestern part of the refinery has been destroyed. It is likely that the heat destroyed far more of the facility.

Polish authorities have confirmed that the explosion in the town of Osiny originated from a suicide drone. No casualties, but three building were damaged. Component in the debris suggest that it was Shahed type drone, built by Russia and Iran. The town is more than 110 km from the Ukrainian border.

Zelenskyy has offered a $100 billion weapons deal to Trump to win security guarantees. Under this proposal the USA would sign a $50 billion deal to produce UAVs with Ukrainian manufacturers who pioneered that sector. This is a clever gambit. If it materializes then it would be quite powerful.
Together with the successful strikes against two Druzhba pump stations in the Bryansk region it is obvious that the entire Druzhba pipeline from the Tambov region in Russia all the way to the west is rendered inoperative for quite some time. The operation was conducted by the 14th UAV regiment.
The situation of the Druzhba pipeline is actually far worse. Last night NASA FIRMS confirmed that the hub and pump station in Novonikolske, Tambov region, in Russia was burning. Satellite pictures show that large parts of the facility are completely destroyed.

In any case, we cannot accept that in matters of territorial questions talks conducted or even decisions made between the USA and Russia without an European or Ukrainian participation. I assume that the US government shares this view. This is why we have this close discussions.
