Reminds me of those backwoods, low tech planets in the outer rim. The Empire never quite got around to subduing them all, especially those with large debris fields from previous high civilisations that failed. Really, Planet of the Apes was not a spoof. Allegorical framing of MAGA acolytes works.

I do not believe that the IDF is encountering any armed resistance. It must be completely impossible for the IDF to obtain intelligence pointing at locations of any HAMAS resources. The mess in Gaza is just too immense. No satellite or wandering drones can get real data. The IDF mission: destroy.
