Freshman and sophomore year were kids who brought guns to school because other kids had threatened them. Junior year were adults who got into a fight during the graduation ceremony. Senior year was a kid who pulled a gun out because he lost a game of dice. I believe this is our new norm, sadly.

As proof… my wife and I were married on February 16, 2004 at SF city hall. We were the 10th couple in line on 2/15/2004 when the SF sheriffs shut the doors and told us to go home. Instead, we waited all night in the rain to get married the following day at 10am. 21 years and still going strong!
