I need to do more research to find out just what was in that ban. I have no vested interest in guns. The US has a serious problem with mass murders. Other countries have from 0 to 2 or 3 a yr. We have roughly 250. Guns are the #1 killer of young Americans. We are doing something radically wrong.

I think it is unfair to accuse someone of not caring about the truth. I don’t know why mass shootings were reduced during the 10 year “ban on assault weapons.” But they were reduced and when the “ban” was lifted they went back up. That wasn’t coincidence. It had a cause. We need to understand why.
