Lets not forget the original Space Harrier, hearing "Welcome to the Fantasy Zone" on the Sega Master System was so cool.
Another memory I have was playing my first online game with a friend. I was on my Amiga 500 and he was using I believe an IBM 486, either way the fact that we could play Populous against each other from our own homes was absolutely mind blowing to me at the time and so much fun.

After being unsuccessful on my own, I called the Sega Tip line (remember those?) for help finding the hidden entrance to Lassic's castle in the original Phantasy Star. With their help I beat the game and felt a huge sense of accomplishment after so much grinding.

Tonight was our first time visiting the A&R music bar in Columbus. Deep Sea Diver was playing. The band was great & the sound was good even from our off angle viewpoint. More importantly, for a smaller venue, it had good airflow. Not a fan of hot, stuffy concerts.
The art seems perfectly in line with the golden age of comics.
Random footnote, I love that you added the Shenmue arcade pic with the option to play Space Harrier. I never got anywhere in Shenmue because I was always playing Space Harrier. 😂

I disagree with you. The WNBA should expand. Its popularity is at an all time high and that means it will inspire more young women to pick up a basketball. The more women that play the stronger the talent pool gets. This isn't rocket science.
