The media's basic assumption that crimes only count if they happen in secret has been Trump's saving grace throughout his two terms. He keeps blabbing about them -- here, he's posting a video of a targeted assassination of civilians -- but because he's so brazen they assume it's no big deal.

There are mechanisms that the minority party can use to force a vote on articles of impeachment. I know it won’t pass, but the action can be used at a minimum to disrupt the Republican agenda and will force them to vote saying that trump invading cities is just fine with them
