Millions of lives, not hundreds of thousands. The Commonwealth Fund estimated that the vaccines saved over 3 million lives in the US alone--and that was in 2022. That might be high, but it's beyond any doubt that they have saved millions of lives globally.

Altman also directed the pilot episode of The Gallant Men, Combat's short-lived sibling. Both were WW2 dramas that debuted on ABC in 1962, with Combat set in France and TGM in Italy. TGM lasted only one season.

BTW, I think it reminded me of the Hospital for Sick Children, which I passed by in Toronto a few years ago. I'm not convinced that there are many hospitals for healthy children. :-)

And even if it *were* true, dead people receiving ballots is not the same thing as dead people voting, nor is it the same thing as dead people's votes being counted. PS: Almost every case I've seen of fraudulent votes actually being cast for dead persons has been done by Republicans.

Yup. TX leads the nation in wind energy and ranks second in solar. On an average day, wind & solar produce ~30% of the state's electricity, but on some particularly windy & sunny days it can hit 70% or more.

I was taught in high school physics that aerodynamic drag is not a significant factor at speeds under about 50mph. Of course, I graduated from high school in 1967. It's possible that either physics or our understanding of it has changed since then. πŸ˜€
