It did. In fact it happened to Delta. There was an update pushed to the system that caused a system-wide crash. This problem is United's problem and it's not something that is the result of incompetent governance.
The weight and balance system is internal to United and not something that is the responsibility of the United States government through the infrastructure bill. This was United's fault, plain and simple.

Where in my comment did I say that there was going to be a special election?? This is something that will have to be done during the midterms. Until then, we need to criticize every single one of them for every single thing that they do every single day until then.
