Newsom can fight, fund, and speak up — he can’t pull the president’s strings. Stop blaming him for Trump’s actions. Governors have state-level levers & influence, but no direct authority over the president or fed agencies. He can't stop ICE, Border Patrol, FBI, or others from enforcing laws.
Trump weaponizes fed immigration policy, & your response is to blame the one governor actually standing up to him? That’s backwards. Newsom isn’t perfect, but claiming he’s letting people get kidnapped is just false. He's the loudest governor out there openly fighting Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda.

The man is insane and clearly thinks he lives in the worst, most crime-ridden country in the world. I grew up in So Cal, went to grad school in DC, and lived most of my adult life in NYC. Now I live near Charlotte, NC. Way more crime here than any of those places, but still not Nat Guard-worthy.
