I like the bags in the foreground. The stark linear buildings rise behind the dirty train with its slight curves, and the bags of leaves in the foreground are even more organic. They also, to my untrained eye, seem to relate to the organic clouds in the upper left.

We had a rescue dachshund who was terrified during thunderstorms. We got one of those thunder shirts, and after the 2nd time she started to calm down when I brought it out. It brought her complete relief. Love to you and your precious pup! ๐ค

When the "no shoes, no shirt, no service" signs went up, it was for safety (shoes) and aesthetics (shirts.) I think the "hippie" culture had pushed the bounds of acceptability and found some areas where it withdrew. In other areas it kept expanding (weed, for example.)
I recall in the '70s grocery shopping while barefooted (you wouldn't believe how cold the floors are in the freezer section!) At that time the grocery stores had ashtrays at the end of each aisle for the convenience of customers who smoked. This was in Iowa.
Stupidity, ineptitude, and apparently arrogance and hostility are job requirements for her position. She sometimes makes me miss Kellyanne!
