Tbh, he was like inhabited by an alien normal-person spirit from Tuesday to Thursday, by Friday resumed being Rudy. Also, he then brought in the Ground Zero cleanup ahead of schedule, under budget, and without fatalities, an all-NYC effort, no intl contractors (no Bechtel etc). All out of character.

I first fought alongside Jerry Nadler when we took on a corrupt bankruptcy system that was rigged against working families. When New Yorkers needed a champion, Nadler always had their backs. He’s a man of principle, and I’m deeply grateful for his years of public service.

Giuliani had three good days as mayor—Tuesday through Thursday of 9/11 week. By Friday the inexplicable angelic spirit that had invaded his soul realized it was in the wrong place and flew off. He did bring in the WTC cleanup ahead of schedule, under budget, w/ no fatalities, a totally NYC effort.
