It should not escape the notice of Rowling supporters that she has offered to bankroll the legal fees for the guy who was nicked while out with Poisonous Posie hassling trans kids . By "hassling", of course, I mean "threatening to stab". Still, it's all about the kids, eh?

Trouble is, Bond films need to be "all things to all men" so are doomed before they start - you have the book purists, and the film purists, and several different types of Bond, so everyone likes something different, it seems. It's a tricky line to walk, but I enjoyed Craig's version well enough.

Ask her how many deportations have been prevented by the ECHR since 1980 ... 13. Obviously some others will not have got that far because people knew they would fail, but in any event it's not a big number, and certainly not worth all this fuss. Lave the Deregulation Tango to the Reform idiots.

It's impossible not to agree that there is something wrong with Trump - quite a list of shortcomings even without potential health issues, in fact. The problem is that some people don't care because breaking everything is the point. Trump can carry the can but much of the damage is done by then.

I think we underestimate the risk at our peril. Yes - a lot of it is media/personality-driven, but there is an underbelly of genuine resentment at the way the world has gone for a lot of people. Of course, the causes are not those that they think they are, but that doesn't always matter.

Robert Jenrick, the Tory Shadow Justice Secretary and former Home Office Minister, joining protesters outside an asylum hotel is one of the most disgusting acts by a frontline British politician in living memory.

Standard practice with this crowd to blame everyone else for their own stupidity ... they genuinely don't see the logical contradiction in this position.

Of course, and we have long been at the point where you have to assume that anyone with enough intelligence to make a load of money is funding this for personal gain, as they can't possibly be stupid enough to believe it, but it's the rest that I worry about.
