I'm a scold and an “I told you so” gal. I saw Roe V Wade going away and couldn't stop it, and I saw Kamala and Biden pushed out. We just couldn't slow MAGA down. And then we saw Project 2025 in print and saw the red lights and nothing happened. And now we're in it. Frustrating. But not quitting!

Pursuit of money and the power it gets you. That's what it all comes down to. It's the bottom line in everything and the media exploits the news to get it. Money isn't the root of all evil, but the love of money is.
This is an insult to our members of the National Guard. Let them go home to do what they're trained to do.

Whitewashing history is inexcusable. What happened in our past cannot be erased and replaced with lies about what truly, verifiably happened. We cannot allow this to happen, not in any museum, library or university. The truth must stand, unaltered.

Part of it is that this administration cultivated stupidity instead of tamping it out. By doing this, Trump grew a following of people who deliberately ignore facts and now he and his fellow Trumpers can do anything, no matter how insane. His core group will never turn back. They're a lost cause.
My husband loves to grill out, and had treated himself to a ribeye steak every now and then, but not any more. He doesn't even buy ground beef, just chicken thighs or pork steaks.

It's happening everywhere, sad to say. I live in the suburbs and grew up here, and over the years, I've seen our wooded areas bulldozed for shopping centers or condos. Cornfields are now office buildings. We'll have no green space left.

It's lovely, and as an artist, I agree that you need space in front of the swan. Any time you photograph something in motion, it's better if you have a short space behind it to indicate takeoff, and space ahead of it so subject can have area to move into. Looks terrific!

My mom had a small arbor of concord grapes but she didn't know what to do with them, so a friend of hers came and gathered the lot of them, took them home and made the most delicious jelly. Mom only asked for a few jars for herself and let her friend keep all the rest.

I was a teen in the ‘70s and we had a large family of Vietnamese immigrants move into our neighborhood. Our church sponsored them, neighbors welcomed them, and they found jobs and settled in the area peacefully. I don't recall hate or violence against them. We are less tolerant now. It's sickening.
And the entertainers shall lead us. Zappa, George Carlin, Rod Serling and many more well-known people saw what was taking place and the direction our country was heading. They were right. I wish we'd listened better.

I love watching them. I hung a new feeder a few weeks ago and it took a while for them to find it. But they're buzzing in regularly now, so I'm happy. My aunt lived in WV and hung a feeder on her porch and there was chaos: eight or ten of them buzz-bombing the feeder and each other.😛
