Mine was going well until I went to Turn on the hose and a swarm of angry wasps poured out of the hose reel. They stung me pretty badly, even getting under my shirt. 😭

I do almost entirely raised beds. I add good compost every spring.
One of mine, Sungold, is producing tons of fruit. I grow all from seed so getting them to fruiting is always amazing to me.

I do not grow raspberries. My jn-laws do, and they bring them to me. I have been pulling and roasting beets and having those for lunch. They are so delicious.

I find myself spending weekends making various things with all the zucchini, aka courgettes, and soon I will be floundering in an ocean of raspberries, making jam. Of course I am glad to have all this in the winter, but this is a busy time.
Just enjoy the damn pool.
But I should add that we are on a private well, so conservation is important.

I would not be able to cope with such bounty. I have paired my tomatoes down to 4 plants this year and I have more than enough.
