And yes, do a little research on the NIH website. They’ve been publishing studies for decades about the importance of structure in kids lives (e.g. single parent vs two parent households). But youre not here with an open mind so I won’t bother.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Wow, you’re taking narcissistic approach and cherry picking a story to justify your own bias. Classic approach for a rebel. Im not even a religious man but I see the good it can do.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
You still have yet to say what specific city/parish of LA that has the crime problem that needs the NG… I’ll wait…
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
You remind me of a teenage high schooler who simply disagrees just to disagree. Who probably thinks that women are naturally as physically strong as men. If you can’t understand the difference between structure and free will then just stop trying to disagree
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Hence is why I said “doesn’t have to be religious.” Structure imposed by religion is can be good and vice versa. It depends on what kind of structure is being imposed. And Just because you disagree with it doesn’t mean your opinion is right or wrong.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
#2 is kind of correct. But think in the context of those acting on behalf of their religion and those who are simply bad actors. Are the religious teachings bad or are the people bad? I
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
You live in a country that has laws, eating habits, education, work, sleeping habits, etc are all forms structure. Just b/c you don’t think you need it, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Some people need more others don’t. There are plenty of different forms of structure, some good some bad.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Also lived in DT New Orleans off North Claiborne for a year. I know LA very well, and I can tell you that it is not typical “red” state. The cities are ran by democrats. If your theory is correct, then neither POTUS or Speaker Johnson would an issue sending the NG to New Orleans.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
You do understand that Chicago is a City and LA is a state right? Can you give me a specific City/ Parish in LA where he should send them? I lived in southwest LA for a couple years post hurricane Laura for a couple years.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
The NG is assisting local law enforcement as stated by the Mayor and police chief. Local authorities have been pretty specific on the specific locations where the NG can provide assistance. And enough with the racism msm bullshit. Look through that garbage and think for yourself a bit.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
I’d assume it’s b/c LA isn’t our national capital. The way I see it if the state/city isn’t doing their job then the NG needs to get involved. I don’t care about the red or blue bullshit. I’m just tired of crime, murder, and lack of accountability. While politicians do nothing about it.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
All humans thrive under structure. Doesn’t have to be religious. But we are biologically driven by structure. There can be too much structure. But just like in all aspects of life too much of anything is generally no good. All societies will always have bad actors, including religious societies.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Plus, all the cardiovascular diseases causing seed oils, and hi fructose corn syrup. I don’t like everything the guy does or has done. But I respect what he’s trying to regardless of who he works for.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Read more and follow the crumbs. These have been issues for many years. When and who petitioned it? Most likely linked to 1 or 2 firms. Nothing to do with Biden Admin. RFK has made it a goal not just to ban 1. But all the other petroleum based dyes.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
It’s pretty self explanatory. Religion provides structure, rules, and models to follow. Not sure how that is a bad thing.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
It’s no different in DC. That’s why the DC Police Chief gladly accepted assistance from the NG. Denying there’s not a high crime problem in cities is idiotic. Don’t be that naive. Accepting that there is 10 to 20 shootings per week in cities is not what we want to portray to the world.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Having low areas zones in cities is common. It happens everywhere. Example, Baltimore is safe as long as you stay in the inner harbor. KC is safe as long as you stay north of Ward and west of Main. But outside those areas is no bueno. You’d be an idiot to walk outside those areas.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Many things that science can’t explain. Big bang theory was adopted by the masses along with the age of the universe. Now the James Webb Telescope has both of theories folding like a cheap lawn chair. Religion is a belief in something. It promotes a good model to follow. Nothing wrong with that.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Nothing has changed in the lives of the average citizen other than having less crime due to the presence of the NG.The NG was deployed in DC to protect its citizens and to remove criminals off the streets. I do not know what is wrong with that.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
When the average person can’t go walk around our nations capital due to the high crime rate then I would expect nothing less from any president. It’s embarrassing to see any person get mugged in our nation’s capital.

levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, he’s got companies removing cancer causing food dyes from our food, removing oils from our food that are directly correlated to cardiovascular diseases, & removing high fructose corn syrup from our foods and beverages. All 3 are will benefit everyone. Make an attempt to stop being a bias ass

Not a good idea. Completely different business models. Metaphorically speaking, Texas is silicon, While California is sells finalized silicon products from components made elsewhere. California revenue is high tax based which is not organic in the economic context. And is not something to brag about
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
This is a statical false narrative that is repeated by sides. It is generally followed by cherry pick numbers and placed on a graph to impose their own bias. Often seen on MSN like Fox, MSNBC, and CNN. It’s an uneducated and misunderstood concept no matter what side is repeating it.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
You should be embarrassed simply due to the fact that we can’t walk around in our nations due to the higher probability of being mugged. If cities can’t get their streets cleaned up. Then they should accept assistance from the NG. No matter what party they affiliated with.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
The privilege? Hardly… the reason we’ll never see eye to eye is b/c you want government dependency to feel “free.” I don’t want shit from the government that historically & factually runs inefficient & expensive programs. You want the Nordic model economy but don’t even know what it is.

That’s not even close to what he said. And the numbers don’t represent inflation going up. They show a strong labor market and positive GDP. But a lack of new hiring which is typical and expected with jobs being replaced via AI.

This doesn’t make sense. Kamala faced scrutiny because spent $1billion and lost against a grass roots campaign that spent 75% of what Kamala spent. To me, she lacked decisiveness on the main topics. She was scrutinized heavily by her previous campaign staff in 2020 for her attitude.

The main issue for people is how is it that you can't get a tattoo under 18 unless you have consent from an adult. You can't legally use tabaco or drink alcohol until your 21 due to health concerns and brain development. But brain development isn't considered when giving a child puberty blockers?

It's why Sweden halted the use of puberty blockers in minors back in 2022.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes but their are also conclusive studies around the uses for endometriosis and cancer. There are no conclusive studies that have relitive agreements on the longer term use for puberty blockers on children and minors. Sweden was the leader in the initial transgender studies back in the late 70's.

Then you stop suppressing the chemical in 3 years. What happens?
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
The brain develops throughout time. Each stage of development has a period where chemicals are released to provide new functions. For instance, when baby’s start teething. It’s a chemical reaction. If you suppressed that chemical reaction then you stop that reaction.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Disrupt that w/ puberty blockers and they lose that development forever. Puberty blockers are not reversible. One can not simply go back in time to get that time back.

Child development is extremely important both hormonal and physical. For instance at age 3 thru 8 boys have testosterone surges daily which can last for 2min to an hour long this happens for specific reasons.

I’m against giving hormone therapy to kids who still believe in Santa Clause. With all the European studies showing the horrendous physical side effects that were found. I would never put a kid through that with the available statistics we have.

Some extremely rich people like multi millionaires and billionaires do not collect income. They have investments. And you can not tax unrealized gains on those investments. If there was a tax on unrealized gains, then our Economy would collapse within a month followed by the world economy

Lastly, more taxes means more government spending. More government spending is directly correlated to higher costs of goods and services.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Lowering taxes on citizens is also business friendly because it provides more money to spend or the smart ones invest the additional money. In addition hiking taxes on the rich kills small businesses.
levelheadedind.bsky.social (@levelheadedind.bsky.social) reply parent
Lowering taxes on corporations makes the US competitive w/ other nations which attracts talent and investors worldwide. Look at the growth of Texas and Florida. Why are businesses moving there? Because no state income taxes.

Taxes are not the solution. You have to understand that the US is the a popular place for investors around the world because we have a stable currency and moderate tax rates compared to others.

Gutting is apart of the process. The internal payment system has to change. The checks and balances system has to change in a way where tracking payments is possible. Vetting all the nonprofits and NGOs. Vetting all programs we support and pay.

No, non-profits are given grant money for special programs. Grant money is tax payer money.

I understand this 100%. But what you should be mad at are the millions of dollars being wasted that could be providing better assistance. These programs are getting $0.25 to $0.50 of every dollar dedicated. The rest is going to the CEOs of the nonprofits that pretend to fund these programs
