Have you tried slow cooker recipes? Plop some frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts in one (or frozen meatballs) add baby carrots and pre chopped onions, maybe some frozen corn or tiny whole potatoes, and some chicken broth. Add some dried thyme or basil. Cook on low for 8-10 hours then dig in.
