Hillary was going to win with or without the superdelegates. Incidentally, Bernie’s fans harassed the superdelegates when it was clear he was losing and could only win with their help. Bernie also argued both ways with the superdelegates during that campaign.

It’s pretty frustrating seeing progressives constantly rewrite history to portray successful, progressive politicians as no different than Reagan era Republicans. Guys like Bernie know Hillary, Biden, and Harris all offered progressive policies designed to help the working class.
Their argument always seems to come down to we should abandon the Democratic base and be more like Republicans. I don’t see how allowing Republicans, who are knowingly operating in bad faith, to police language is going to help us.

I didn’t because I didn’t appreciate how much being good looking, articulate, and media savvy would work in his favor. He also was savvy enough to use RCV in his favor and build relationships with people he needed to win; something most progressives populists tend to be really bad at.
