I was addicted to those reaction vids for awhile. Watch them react to Stevie Ray Vaughan playing Texas Flood live at the El Mocambo OR Van Halen Eruption on Live Without a Net. Appropriately amazed and all genuine as far as I can tell.
This just reminds me how unwilling old racist people are to learning or turning off Fox.

I tried that one about five years ago and put it down pretty quickly, which is rare for me. I don’t remember the particulars but I felt like the presentation of the stories was poorly done. I think it didn’t feel very cohesive. Super interesting and important subject, though.
The appropriate use of quotes and lack of caps suggests otherwise.

They aren’t “mercenaries”. That suggests they’re involved in some sort of battle or quasi-war with other warring parties. That has a ring of legitimacy and bravery. They are paid thugs/losers who travel in violent packs to attack, terrorize, and imprison regular people who pose ZERO threat.

For an old guy it doesn’t tell us much. Something as simple as a single IV can cause an infection or some other tissue damage that we see there. Weird but not necessarily a sign of anything major. That’s NOT a diagnosis, but it’s impossible to conclude a whole lot from that.
If you don’t want to support the fight he’s bringing, that’s up to you. As with WW2, I see an existential battle brewing and I want to bring EVERYTHING we have. If more principled options come up I’m all for it.
