I worked in a resto out west in those years and a group of ladies who'd come in the last year or so were part of the kitchen team. Beautiful inside and out and I have no doubt that they contributed much to Canada in the years since then.

I hit a significant number recently and it preoccupied me for awhile. Not sad, exactly, but very reflective. I decided to deal with those questions by changing them to ones like "Am I satisfied with how I've lived? Have I tried my best to treat people right? Do I still?"
There needs to be a transition, something as biting but more focused on issues even MAGAs are affected by, like grocery and gas costs, unemployment, and the impacts of tariffs on those things.

I think many are in your position, and many have to go for work. My guess is that way fewer trips for holiday, shopping, or just because, are driving the reduction.
