I do know that Bluesky has a progressive audience. I do remind myself and others that Bluesky can sometimes be an echo chamber where the opinions don't always represent the general public in Canada or other places. Even downtown and the suburban Toronto area are different places. Different opinions.
I found Twitter to be full of anonymous bots and trolls "who" used insults to get their points across. I left Twitter.
I don't mind if there are economic conservatives here. For example, I am fine reading Andrew Coyne's comments whether I agree with him or not. He criticizes others, but he does not insult them. No -tards from him.

I have supply taught in thousands of different K-8 classrooms in the Toronto area. I have never seen any inappropriate book at any grade level. Teachers use their judgement about what is appropriate for their classrooms. Occasionally, these books may be about sexual orientation or racism.
