Poi is pretty bland. Its consistency changes by day, ie 1-finger poi is runny and newest, while 3-finger poi has developed more thickness and a tiny amount of flavor. Mostly it absorbs the main dish’s flavors.

Stupid Fashion Trends: 1) Front Sweater Wad Partial Tuck. It looks dumb. 2) Pre-Distressed Jeans. Distressing supposedly mimics actual wear patterns. What kind of activity would make such ugly stripes? And is there a woman skinny enough to want horizontal stripes across her gut?

I found a Guy when I first bought my house. He repaired a furnace duct, added light fixtures, fixed my chimney, caulked my funky siding, etc. He ended his handyman business, sold his house, and converted a school bus to live in. I look around my house at all the things he did, and still miss him. 1/

I keep thinking of my days working at a prestigious Seattle design firm. Its branding team had a project for a pass-through suburb that wanted a new logo & tag line. It still makes me giggle that they came up with, “Go anywhere from here!” You can imagine how badly that bombed!
I feel like someone was behind the scenes, telling them how to react to that branding. Granted the new logo was ho-hum, but ascribing “too woke” to it was really a stretch.
