I have to admit, I can't think of a book I've encountered with enough typos to be distracting. So, on further consideration, I am basically doing the preacher thing there and just pretending I have an insight.

Is this a self published book? Anyway, my uninvited advice is to let typos go and just read them as the words were intended. Spelling rules are a quite recent invention and violating them is occasionally a sacred duty. Those looking for clews can search for alternate spellings in dictionaries.
