If they think that an effective way to cut crime is to have enough police to patrol the streets then why doesn’t Congress give Washington enough money to hire those police. They’ve cut the budget how many times now? This display of force is costing a fortune.
This is happening already but more needs to happen I also think we need to have some kind of central repository for any of these films - somebody who is compiling all of them to show that these are not isolated incidents. These are deliberate strategies. Is there a congressman who would do that?

They just made a good point on MSNBC. Democrats need to emphasize how poorly they are handling their siege of DC. They are not in the high crime areas, but where they get media coverage. It takes 4 of them to arrest 1 person. Beat cops would have 2 at most. They also are masked and unidentified.

Here is how he could actually help. Deploy the National Guard to compensate for the missing police caused by the Congressional defunding. Have them patrol neighborhoods - heavy presence. Get the proper finding for DC and help them recruit. Replace the Guard as they get the proper manpower.
