Yep. I live in Idaho and we've lost a third of our OBs due to our abortion policy, we passed a disastrous school voucher program that will steal money from our public schools, and the governor just mandated 3% budget cuts for all state agencies. Horrible governance.

There are efforts but it doesn't make much difference. The last 2-3 times the governor asked for public feedback on bills that the legislature passed and it was overwhelmingly negative but he signed them anyway.
We did Medicaid expansion through a ballot initiative and the GOP legislature immediately changed the rules so it's harder to get those done in the future. This state is bullshit.
That's what UT is trying to do too after we had two ballot initiatives pass that the R supermajority doesn't like. Time to make ballot initiatives impossible.

They resent the blue states but take the subsidies from the blue states who contribute more into the federal budget. Blue states need to rethink their federal contribution given more burden will fail on them for disaster and health care etc
