I don't know about that. People might complain, but especially in rural areas they know that's their meal ticket. Remember, by this point the majority of folks in a college town have chosen to be there vs another town.
Sure, but the core problem is what consumers demand from media. Twitter could be bought because it was never profitable. It's only value was for propaganda.

I got on the scene too late to grab most historic recordings of interest. I only have a few here or there.
Replacing place names with bland mileposts caused me to generally lose interest in collecting recordings 😅, but I am glad others do so.

Somehow I think the sanctions busting platform won't bow to pressure from an Australian morality group. That's the problem here, not the platforms, but the platforms bowing to external pressure groups because they are vulnerable to legal actions and politics.

Has anyone ever noticed how bizarre the NJT weekend pattern schedules are? Every hour a local leaves 20 minutes ahead of an express, which is unhelpful, and they arrive 6 minutes apart at Penn station, which is even more unhelpful. Why even bother to run two trains!?
For comparison I can drive to Baltimore in 1h 45min or MetroPark in little over 1h.
Observation on how slow transit is. From my house, walking to PATCO to RiverLINE to NJT NEC to Penn Station takes 3.5 hours even with very reasonable connections. 😭
