I hear you, and I'm not trying to be Pollyanna about the mess we're in. Here's my caveat, though. Much of Trump's power comes because Repub politicians enable him. They enable him because the base supports him. If they sense too much of the base breaking away, he may lose their loyalty.
Right, but the cult-like devotees aren't enough by themselves to prop him up forever. He (and many of the Republicans that enable him) got elected through a combination of the cult base *plus* swing voters, *plus* younger voters who were new to MAGA and aren't as loyal.
Have you been listening to the Bulwark podcast? It sounds like there are cracks forming in his coalition over this, and if he pardons her, that'll be another wedge making the cracks bigger. 🍿

2/2 I honestly don't believe that individual use or boycott of AI, or anything less than systemic regulation and control, will make any difference. It's a bit like arguing with consumers about our individual choices affecting climate change, when the real problem is the companies.
