Don’t know about MPD, but If a gift is under $20 it’s probably ok for the feds. Most feds, though, turn down any gifts just to avoid the appearance of impropriety … at least that’s how it used to be before the grifters took over.

A principled person has 2 choices in this admin when they’re prevented from doing their work - resign or be fired. In both cases they’ll be maligned. If they resign they can publicly lodge their objections in their resignation letter and diminish the inevitable claim of “disgruntled employee”.

I’ve been reading books written in the 50s & 60s and those authors were unafraid of $5 words. I became enamored of e-book dictionary look-ups when I read Casino Royale - I looked up the Britishisms with the glee of a Catholic school grade-schooler looking up dirty words in the dictionary.

As I recall, those photos were part of the indictment. The issue wasn’t the layout in the photo but 1. sensitive documents found stored in an unsecured manner and handled carelessly, and 2. the documents still in his possession after trumps claims that all govt docs had been returned.
