The IPC changed the requirements they always used to use so they could declare famine in Gaza. That's not to say there aren't people who are going without sufficient food in Gaza City and some other areas, but it isn't starvation across Gaza.
Those people can't get a break. It's so sad to read of more tragedy there.

Tonight, I see on MSNBC that they are covering this plan as a complete relocation plan of all residents of Gaza, but it doesn't say that. It does say they will offer voluntary relocation deals but it assumes in their plan that 75% of all Gazans will remain in place. What the hell? Truth matters!

The US gives money to Israel but mandates most of it has to go to buy our weapons, so our arms industry stays in business while we are not at war. We would have to offset that. We would have to use the money we give to Israel to collect our own intelligence, which we're not equipped to do.

I think this is an investor plan, not government funds. It's going to take funds from many governments to rebuild Gaza no matter what happens. But, without jobs and hope for a future, Gaza will be a terrorist hot bed. The unemployment rate in Gaza had skyrocketed just before the Hamas attacks.
I would love to visit New Orleans, but I don't because of the crime that happens in broad daylight on Bourbon Street. If this was about crime, New Orleans would have been first.
