Two weeks……
Oh please save us the sob story. The horse lunched with piers Morgan and Clarkson - two of the biggest misogynists out. One even incited violence towards the Duchess of Sussex not long before the fortnums lunch (c/o her son no doubt with his connections)
DC was our second home for quite a few years, never put ourselves in a position to feel threatened. The biggest threat is in the White House - until that is removed America will never be safe

We used to do epic road trips - fly into somewhere like vegas and drive around and end up in San Francisco before heading back to the U.K. can’t even think about returning - don’t feel we’d be safe. We visited last time Trump was in and got asked by so many on our view of him - we didn’t answer
Loved our visit there - sadly we won’t be returning until America gets it’s act together and Trumptopia is swept away with the garbage.

Spent a lot of time in DC when husband was working for UK News firm. Always felt safe and loved being there. Now I wouldn’t consider visiting - how can they say they are keeping crime down when the criminals are in the White House?

He refused to send the guard in on jan 6th because it suited him to delay the vote that day. He puts the guard in now to stop anyone from removing him from office.
Question - how can Trump push for his coveted Noble/nobel peace prize when he himself is installing Marshall law in Washington DC?
Whilst I’m not surprised at Trump’s antics anymore i do wonder what those standing alongside him were thinking and what credibility they have to gain (none) by agreeing with him. They sold their souls to the devil and the devil goes golfing.
We said the exact same thing - after Jan 6th I said if Americans were daft enough to vote him back in then the country was screwed. I still think he rigged the election - after all he did keep saying it was rigged.
We lived in DC years ago - always felt safe walking around in the evenings. If Americans can’t realise that Jan 6th was a rehearsal for what is still to come then there is no hope for the country. We don’t feel safe with Trump in the White House and won’t return until he’s out

I enjoyed Agassi talking about tennis and not personal stuff as if the case of castle who is as subtle as a brick through a window.
Saturday was terrible value for money. Less than 3 hours of tennis for an exorbitant price whereas tickets for earlier cost less and you can usually see play well into the evening - very little happening on outer courts. More invitation matches would have been good
We paid £240 each for under three hours of tennis on Saturday - we’ve been previous years on earlier days, paid less and seen considerably more play. Wimbledon need to consider value for money
