Today, in my small college town, union shirts/hats, union signs, & union chants were EVERYWHERE at our Labor Day rally, as they are at every other rally. Like the media, the Dem Party, & so many other institutions, the local level gets it & is fighting like hell. But the national level is MIA.
Crime is literally lower than it has been in the entire life of every single non-senior-citizen American. If you are under age 65 you have never lived at a time with lower property crime rates, lower violent crime rates or lower homicide rates. Never.

I am at a loss to think of any elite Republican, save a handful of Never-Trumpers, who has not squandered the privilege of being taken at face value. They are uniformly bad-faith actors and their statements should be regarded accordingly. Instead of "trust but verify", it's "prove it, asshole".
And fight for undocumented workers who are doubly persecuted. Having no recourse to fight low wages, wage theft, and unsafe conditions, they are exploited by employers. And after decades of being scapegoated by Republicans, they are under literal physical attack from the government.
"Long guns" could be hunting rifles, so please don't call them that. Call them what they are: assault weapons. That is not only a more accurate label, it also conveys their intended use and the depraved regard Republicans have for Americans.
