Elections aren’t run by the federal government. Trump has no way to cancel them. He could try, but a handful of red states would be the only ones that complied. Blue states would tell him to get fucked.
The only thing we can ‘do’ to stop this is mass, sustained protests. I’m talking protests that are big enough to impact the economy. Folks who aren’t on political social media don’t think it’s bad enough for that yet, though, and I honestly question whether we have the attention span for it at all.

AI needs to be treated as an element of a fully vetted decision support system. It shouldn't be the sole arbiter of critical decisions.
Those are obvious concerns, but I’d put AI launching a nuclear counterattack due to a false alarm slightly above them
There are frameworks on how to interact with AI, like RTF. That said, the underlying thesis of Angry's article is spot on. AI is a blessing and a curse.
I address this a little bit in the piece. My major concern isn’t that AI will make the “wrong” decision, but that it will make the “right” tactical decision but be completely wrong morally/ethically.
