We have weed trees like that here, all over Cape Cod. At first I thought they were different Sumac varieties, but have since discovered many are either Black Walnuts, or Butternuts. There are actually large stands of Butternut trees in places on the Lower Cape that are 30-50 feet tall

As long as someone has decided that the rest of us can't see something (as in human nudity), it just makes it more desirable to see it. If nudity was accepted at beaches, etc., the fascination wouldn't be there. Besides, there are a lot of fat guys that are shirtless in public that are "obscene".

I have no faith, or allegiance to the Democrats. I agree with you that they're doing nothing. I do have faith in the US Constitution that gives us the right to vote. In theory, it should work. However, the current administration is doing all that it can to undermine that effort.

I've been a die hard Facebook fan, but have been spending WAY more time on Bluesky. I like the lack of advertising forced down my throat, there are lots of interesting topics, and it is a lot less cluttered than Facebook. I was never a Twitter fan. Bluesky is really doing a great job!

Hiccups are caused by a muscle spasm in your diaphragm. I found (for myself anyway), taking a deep breath and holding it as long as you can, while crunching down sitting on a step always seem to work. Sometimes it might take a second attempt, but it is a simple way to stop them.
