Begging someone to rewrite Biden health article by prominent journalists, word for word, but replacing with Trump's name.

Good piece on what the Dems are doing but it unfortunately sidesteps what is motivating all of this: the unprecedented mid decade redistricting to gerrymander more seats for the GOP. The story makes little sense without that context.

"people power" will then come to mean something entirely different

Consider LoveTheLookStudio on Etsy which has many excellent quality 3M Aura cover options. I wear one of them every day. www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1...

I thought maybe I did something wrong when I did this exact same thing a couple of his newsletters ago but now it seems intentional.

Income from Operations are also up 17%. But Sales & Marketing is up 16.8MM, G&A up 5.6MM, and "Other Loss" increased cost by 11MM. I don't follow this company but curious what market factors and business decisions drove those worsening indirect costs, in spite of the higher operating income results.

Some are saying trump has the most mentions in the Epstein files. A big number, 1000%, 1500%, far more than anyone thought possible.

NYT is the Amazon reviews of newspapers. The reviewed product is simultaneously reliable and breaks easily, the battery lasts for days and also only 5 minutes, it works exactly as described and simply doesn't.

There are two types of the 3m aura: one with white elastic straps, and one with blue plastic straps. The elastic is noticeably tighter. The mask itself is identical in the two versions. Personally, I prefer the tighter one but you may find the blue plastic straps more comfortable. Best of luck!

I used to think Netflix making its own shows was a brilliant concept: to create a massive permanent archive of shows catering to all tastes. Instead they cancel too early, leaving short unresolved story lines that few want to waste time starting to watch. What's the point.

Due to the same issue, the sole time I went to a movie theater since 2020 was an 830am showing on a weekday, when there would be only a couple of others there at most. Still the only ones masked of course.
wagoner (@wagoner.bsky.social) reply parent
Good! In the US they wouldn't let me do that. I since learned you can use their phone app as a digital membership card that needs no photo.
wagoner (@wagoner.bsky.social) reply parent
So per the article if you receive a voice message from a government officer, the guidance is DO NOT assume they are genuine. Also: if apprehended by armed masked men who do not identify themselves, DO assume they are genuine ICE officers. I see no issues here.

It's unclear what a real Dan is when a profile says nothing to help answer that, paired with a custom domain that is far from obviously their full name. The imposter thing has no meaning to me when one Dan account is indistinguishable from another but for the check.
wagoner (@wagoner.bsky.social) reply parent
What's the point of a verifed acct check mark proving it's really "Dan" when it's unclear from his profile who he is. ("It's the 21st Century"). What if there are two check mark "Dans"? Just something I've been thinking about...

Looking forward to a returning President Trump signing a GOP congressional mandate of insurance coverage for Cybertrucks, and a right wing SCOTUS (with it's newly appointed justice) affirming. It would be like ACA but to benefit a single billionaire.
wagoner (@wagoner.bsky.social) reply parent
Presumably people bridge because they aren't on the other site otherwise. So it's conceptually challenging to figure out how they'd publicize their bridged account over there :-) It needs others over there to go do that work for them, but how to ask them unless you're there also 😂 ðŸ˜
wagoner (@wagoner.bsky.social) reply parent
How are people then making others on Mastodon aware that it can be followed there? Is there some directory of bridged accounts or something?
