When I was 16 and in hospital for a tonsillectomy, before surgery (under general anesthesia) a nurse made me wash my makeup off, and brought me nail polish remover and cotton balls. No nail polish allowed bc they monitor the color of nail beds, and skin tone, under anesthesia (blue is bad, lol).

Do you have many siblings? My folks wanted and had only two kids. My friends who grew up in big families with 4-5 siblings rarely if ever ate steak either, or seafood, or go out to nice restaurants like we did, though sometimes my grandparents treated. More than two kids must cost a lot more.
