There's no reason to trust media. Every one of them has failed. I include PBS on whose broadcast I heard a news anchor refer to "trump's high pressure style of governing." THEY. ARE. ALL. USELESS. I'm normally politically mild, but I'd describe myself as radically in favor of taking this cabal down.
I think of a dear (Evangelical) friend who, when my son died at 39 of cancer, told me that "God has a plan." I like my friend; I know that such thinking comforts her. But, for me, this was the cruelest cut of all. She's still my friend, but I can't wrap my head around the insensitivity.
Interesting. Brings up set of questions involving what defines moral character, who defines it & how;whether such definition is immutable, or if there's clear demarcation between "good" & "not good." Maybe a probe for theological or psychological study, but hardly purview of a convicted felon/rapist

There will be deliberately instigated chaos in blue states and districts all over the country. The mid term elections will be disrupted everywhere, its results tainted by poll interference, extreme gerrymandering, voter purges, blocked registration, mail sabotage, intimidation of officials.
It would be difficult to enter that space because it is already crowded with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden stalking its corridors and creating the confusion that is then excreted as the babbling confusion of its landlord.
It must feel very special to be able to dump on vulnerable, marginalized folks as the detritus of society when you have wealth, privilege and power, especially when you are in a position to turn that wealth, privilege and power into ways to salvage those you are vilifying.
There r so many things wrong here, not th least of which is th hideous screed tht makes those already on the fringes of society, turns thm into something to fear rather thn th vulnerable victims they r. Yrs ago, I had a colleague, a gifted artist. Over time, she descended into mental illness, displayed weird behavior, lost her job, family, became homeless. She wasn't dangerous, but disconnected frm reality. I've had no news abt her in yrs. I think of her whn virulent hate is modeled by our leaders.
I'm a Californian who supp'd passage of non-partisan re-districting comm & never changed my mind. But I'm also a realist; I believe we can't just cling to the high ground while democracy disintegrates around us.
