At least half the time I get an AI answer or summary forcefed to me about my area of expertise, it’s wrong. Usually it’s just a small thing, but still, wrong. Similar to you: A non-existing Figma admin feature. So, I assume it also gets it wrong on things I’m not an expert in…
I think that might be partly because people and lists tend to block words & hashtags (one of the reasons I wish more people used hastags) so the more you put in, the higher the chance of it getting blocked.

Is the idea here that it would be nearly impossible to recover from, even with near perfect scores on all other assignments? I guess it would make the risk/reward calculation to use LLMs even for assignments that have less weight a lot more negative.
The ethical concern has to do with going against his (and possibly his university's) values, and the environmental concerns should always be considered. The ones in Word and Google Docs don't regurgitate whole paragraphs (yet?) and his main concern as a teacher is teaching critical thinking

“Watching … videos that use AI voices” is (unfortunately) a little hard to avoid. It icks me out when I notice it, and I tend to block the user/channel, but I can’t really avoid them popping up on my feeds. Unless you mean actively subscribing and sharing them, in which case I agree.

I have a powerstrip screwed to the bottom of the desk, so there’s only one cable coming from the outlet. All the cables go through a hole in the desk. I also have a 2nd powerstrip on top of the desk (want to replace it with a built in) that’s for all the USB chargers Cable ties help organize it.

The sales talk is working in executives because: 1) They don’t actually know how to do any of the things AI purports to do. They see it output code/design/text, but they don’t have the expertise to judge the quality of that output. 2) It gives them an excuse to “reduce overhead”. Line goes up.

One tip: I understand using a picture because of the character limit, but you should always use alt-text for accessibility. The character limit on alt-text is 2000. Just Copy-paste :) You can also turn on a toggle (per device) that requires you to always add alt-text when posting pictures.

I bought a 180m2 house (a little under 2k sq ft) about 40 minutes outside Lisbon, Portugal It was a ruin, so we had the freedom to make the kitchen big (for socialising) We have 5 rooms, two of them are in use as (WFH) offices. It’s already a lot. I wouldn’t want anything bigger.
