Yes, it's bad voting because the world of instant news and five second social media bites has been hijacked to flood the zone and brain wash populations. The stupid and conspiracy nuts, that used to be 10%, have grown to 50% as a result.

If Labour does not make serious changes to their EU platform, and I don't think they will, the door is wide open for Reform. Question is, how will they govern successfully with the UK economy in tatters? I only see further decline.

I am simultaneously shocked and not surprised that so many people did not see the failure that Brexit would be. Right wing propaganda not withstanding, the evidence was there for all to see. I believe that anti EU sentiment was years in the making by government(s) that feared ceding powers.

I don't think Dr Kidd is referring to citizenship. It's more to do with residency for minors who turn 18. Something that could have been hammered out in the withdrawal agreement, because it can affect UK citizens in EU as well as EU citizens in UK.

The problem Dr. Kidd raises is not an EU issue. It's a problem with the withdrawal agreement. It might have been addressed if the UK side had realised that the separation agreement was in fact far more complex than they were prepared to negotiate. The talk of "hard Brexit" comes to mind.
