Ok, so Lone is a VERY common Danish/Scandinavian name. In fact, I once had a crush on a "Lone" (unfortunately not reciprocated, ha-ha)...and Bacterium sound a LOT like bacteria, and Karius (when your teeth has...carries?) and Baktus (bacterium) is all about oral hygiene.

We (or at least I) love the darker, heavier, more "gothic" feel. Too much high gloss, super polished, completely fake barbie doll stuff out there. Darker is better.

numbers (weights) are a guide line. Not the law of the land. Add more for more flavour if you like.
250 gr ENTIRE orange, blended into pulp (leave out peel ifyou prefer). Hence no water in recipe. Add LITTLE sugar (25-30 gr) and give a quick boil. This is your liquid base. Now add 200-400 gr well developed sourdough, 20 gr canola oil and 10 gr salt, APP 400 gr flour w/5 gr (tsp) cround cloves

Healthy food (i.e. soups and stews) - if sourced correctly - is quite cheap to make and can be ultra nutritional and tasty. But especially in "certain countries" where the rich run the show, it's never going to happen. What a shame.
after nearly 50 years in the food industry, I have learned that we could easily feed every person on planet earth, but there are logistical issues (distribution) in reaching EVERYBODY. When it comes to school kids, the ONLY obstacle...is political will. Sad but true.

It's all about the kids. They are the future. The adults (especially older ones like I) are not the future. We are representatives of the past. That's why everything we do is for our kids and anything a GOOD parent wants, is to see their kids happy and healthy (which is where the food comes in).
You are proud for a good reason. Every kid should have a proper, nutritious meal for lunch, no matter their family's financial situation. Just like housing (and many other things), healthy, affordable food should be a human right.

Does Canada still need the US? Probably to some extend, yes, but I think our dependency could and should be raked down to about 10% of what it was before. It's obviously not going to happen overnight, but it's a long term goal worth aiming for. Don't under-estimate the beaver.
